917 Flyweight Wind Jacket
The 917 colourway is inspired by the Gulf Oil racing colourway and, specifically, the Porsche 917 driven by Steve McQueen in the classic 1971 film Le Mans. We've paired a slightly lighter duck egg blue and papaya orange for our tribute on the famous racing livery. Oil splatters and Armco scrape marks not required!
The flyweight wind jacket is something we have been working on for a while. We've created a piece of race fit kit that you can wear as a top layer on colder morning starts or store in a jersey or gilet pocket ready for a mid-ride coffee stop. When not needed, this jacket packs neatly into its own integrated pocket and at 125 grams for a size medium, it really is flyweight!
With a mesh back panel and windproof material on the front panel and arms, the flyweight wind jacket is also very breathable so you won't find yourself in that infuriating position of being cold on the outside and wet on the inside!
A two-way zip also helps let air in when required on the move. It also helps you easily access to jersey pockets without going full Sagan, riding no-handed whilst trying to locate that energy bar you know is there but can't see or feel!
We know that judging the sizing of cycling clothing can be tricky. The key measurements of each size are given in the table below. We suggest you compare these measurements against clothing you already have to help you choose the right size for you.
IMPORTANT: Our clothing is ‘race fit’ and is designed to be worn skin tight for maximum aero benefit. If you are at the top end of a size range and/or want a more relaxed fit, we would advise that you go to the next size up.
A. Chest (cm)
B. Waist (cm)
C. Zip (cm)
