I have tried plenty of bib shorts over the years from various brands. Many are massively overpriced and underperform. These are well priced and very comfortable. Wore them on 90km gravel ride the other day and was comfortable from beginning to end. To date, I have bought three KOMRAID kits and will be buying more soon!
I bought a Splinter Himmel jersey, part of my first purchase from KOMRAID along with the matching bibs, socks and arm warmers. I've used these now both indoor on my trainer and outdoors on a couple of times, most recently to Box Hill. As advertised, the Jersey is very close fitted and is very comfortable and breathable. It looks fantastic, and even on long cycles the mesh panels do a great job of keeping me cool and dry. Definitely happy with the overall quality and price, and a big fan of these bold designs!
Bought myself the Slinter Latt bib shorts to go with my jersey. I have to say I'm very happy with them. They feel nice and well made and once on they fit really well too. I've been out a couple of times in them now and found the pad to be nice and comfortable. Overall a very nice pair of shorts that fit, look and feel very nice. I'm going to treat myself to the arm warmers and wind vest to complete the whole set.
I love my Splinter bib shorts because the padding is just the right size. Some brands put in pads that are too big to try to increase comfort whilst also causing chafing issues. The mesh straps help keep me cool and the shorts sit neatly in place with the grippers sewn into the bottom. I’ve paid a lot more for a lot less quality. It’s clear that thought and care have gone into the designs and the finish of these products. My new go-to favourite!!
